Top News **Release Date: April 20, 2010**..
IN ANANÉSWORLD -"On April 20, Nervous Records will release the
sophomore album from Anané entitled Ananésworld. A fitting title as
it’s composed of music ranging in styles from dance, reggae, rock,
R&B soul, world and the Caribbean; and because there’s a level of ho-
nesty that connects Anané with every note that’s performed on the
album. Dance albums often come across as “tracks,” but what we
have with Ananésworld is something more…It’s a rich album that thr-
ows back to a meaningful time and place. Ananésworld
Produced by Grammy Award Winner Louie Vega and co-produced by
Anané, it won’t take very long to get fully immersed in Ananésworld.
The opening track is a sparkling bass-heavy cover of Yoko Ono’s “Wal-
king On Thin Ice” that brings some serious chic disco flavor. “Plastic
People” offers a dance rock hybrid with tropical island flair while “Rock
The Cradle” delivers a poignant message through whispers of reggae
(both tracks co-written by Anané and Lisa Fischer). Straight out of a
vintage movie soundtrack the smoky and sexy “Terra Longe” and “Bem
Ma Mi” are pure class from the French Riviera. Next, an interlude provi-
des a clear transition between the two sides of Ananésworld. “Bigger
Than Life,” “My Sexy Way” (co-written by Anané and Duane Harden)
and “A New Born Day” reflect a love of classic R&B; “Let Me Love You”
and “Let's Get High (Life Love Music)” reveals Anané’s dancier side; and
Dancehall King Mr. Vegas and MC Tony Touch help tear it up on “Shake
It” (co-written by Anané and Duane Harden). A thick slice of 80’s NYC
punk on ”Standing In Line” leads to a massive surprise that’s “Love To
Love You Baby.” While there’s no doubt you’re familiar with Donna Sum-
mer’s original, we’re positive you’ve never heard it quite like this. That’s
because Anané teamed up with iconic Italian fashion designer Roberto

Cahill is named after Tim Cahill, the star midfielder for Everton F.C.,
the team Anton Powers supports. The three producers and Nikki Belle
recorded the song "Trippin' On You" in 2007, and the song became
popular in Liverpool's nightclubs, before it appeared on the Clubland
13 compilation album. The song got a good reception and it then went
to promo on Anton Powers and Tim Condran's record label, 3 Beat Blue
(formerly Boss Records).
"After the song's popularity grew, a music video was made in February
2007 ready for the song's full single release on 3 Beat Blue/All Around
The World. "Trippin' On You" was playlisted by Radio 1, Galaxy and MTV
Dance. The song was adopted as a signature track for WAGs - Abbey

'When you check out The Model’s track “What Does It Look Like I'm Doing?"
(available for free download by clicking here) you’ll wonder “just where in
the hell did this awesome band come from and why haven’t I heard of them
sooner?!” It’s not an overstatement or overconfidence to say this band’s
debut CD Physical could be the electronic rock record of the year. There are
at least FIVE bonafide-hit singles on this CD, and of course, the band has
the nerve to call itself The Model in the first place. It all makes sense and
sounds fabulous at home, in the car or on a strobe lit runway.
“What Does It Look Like I'm Doing?" and “Wrong Number” features all the
glitz and glitter great synthpop is all about. A sparkling synth line matches
up with a pulsating beat and flowing lyrics that’s just magic for the ears. “I
Won't Be Hanging Out Anymore” brings some Philly philth into the mix for a
dirtier electro sound. “Do You Believe In Angels” is reminiscent of Fischersp-
ooner sans the robots and cheeky shtick, while “N/A” needs no explanation
it’s all about the power of Markie as a frontman. “Immigrant” sounds like it
could have easily come from Trent Reznor’s Pretty Hate Machine or Broken.
These are only half the tracks on Physcial – ‘nuff said.
The Model was started by frontman/lyricist Markie and keyboardists Ziggy,
Jason and Johnny as a semi-annual philosophic-pop-costume-party in Philad-
elphia, and today, it’s pretty much retained some of the pop and dance-ness
and ridiculous-ness. The Model inspired by geometry and Russian literature,
by Katherine Hepburn and Humphrey Bogart, in old black and white photos.

CS80 synth patches for a lush and endlessly layered sound. It's a richness
of analog synthesis that recalls the best work of Klaus Schulze, Kraftwerk,

tracks like the trunk-bumping "Out of Phase" or the whimsical trance rocker

IN PREPARATION -- As you probably know most artists has a very
hectic time just now, they prepares for the upcoming Eurovision Song
Contest in May. Before the ESC starts the national selection finals will
occur. Sweden will go out hard this year, with many very good artists
and special edited songs. All the countries will set extra effort into the
race in May. BWO is one of the hottest tip on the Swedish winner top.
BWO will stand out this year, they prepares with a special Love Song.
Can BWO gives us a better position in the ESC.. well first they need to
win in Sweden. Sweden will go true a series of selections, hereafter a
winner will compete with all the others in Serbia ( May 24th ).

'SOUNDFACTORY' -"SoundFactory has remixed Sweden's glam rock-
ers The Ark for European release. This is the first time that -- The Ark
ever has been remixed officially and the track is “Prayer For The Week-
end”. SoundFactory provided The Ark with 3 mixes and they are climb-
ing the Swedish dance charts right now in the top ten, released as a
DJ promosingle.
A few weeks after completing the “Prayer For The Weekend” mixes,
SoundFactory was back in the studio yet with another The Ark song,
this time the Eurovision entry “The Worrying Kind”, also remixed for
the European market. The singles will be released in Europe this aut-
umn but weather Sweden will see a release of the two singles remain
to be seen.
Popsinger/Musical Star Peter Jöback has gotten the SoundFactory trea-
tment as well on his latest single “Stockholm I Natt” which in it’s original
form is a piano driven ballad with dramatic string arrangements. --- The
SoundFactory mixes are first and foremost made for radio usage, since
most of the commercial radio stations regarded the original too slow(!).
This version is a little more up-tempo with a little bit of “Missing” (Every-
thing But The Girl) feel to it, but it keeps the drama and soul in it.
Finally released is the new single from Euro poppers NEX. The track is cal-

Frankie Vázquez. Now that the smoke has cleared we're back with rol-

liked 8 y Más, your gonna love Toda Velocidad from Frankie Morales
and his Mambo of the Times Orchestra - a crate-full of absolute killer
New York style salsa dura. Morales can place his clear vocal register
pretty high up there - he reminds me a bit of a young Adalberto Sant-
